Tahitian and South Sea Pearls are quite rare and are among the most alluring, most desirable Pearls in the world. Tahitian Pearls are made, one at a time, by the Pinctada Margaritifera oyster. Although the Tahitian is referred to as the “Black Pearl”, as you may have noticed in the movies, Tahitian pearls actually appear in a variety of shades from black to silver gray. Our favorite is the Peacock Tahitian. You will notice the Peacock is our Tahitian of choice in many of our creations!

The Golden South Sea Pearl is even more rare than the Peacock Tahitian, and is among the most valuable of all the Pearls.  Produced by the Pinctada Maxima oyster, Golden South Sea Pearl is cherished by Pearl lovers the world over.
